Governor Terry McAuliffe Visits MTEQ’s Manufacturing Facilities Kilmarnock, VA

The Honorable Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia Terry McAuliffe visited MTEQ’s Manufacturing Facility on Thursday, August 21st. The Governor is reaching out to small businesses located in rural Virginia to gain a better understanding of their needs. MTEQ’s President Mary Williams and General Manager Greg Demeo provided a tour of MTEQ’s manufacturing facilities in Kilmarnock, VA.

MTEQ Awarded Battle Management Systems (BMS) Contract (N00178-13-D-1022)

$30 Million Dollar Contract, 5-Year IDIQ

MTEQ was awarded a $30 million, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, with the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division in Dahlgren to provide for rapid prototype development, hardware fabrication, hardware and software for prototype or prototype pre-production units and kits in support of the battle management systems, dragon spear, and Littoral Combat Ship programs. MTEQ’s Manufacturing Services Division in Kilmarnock, VA,  supports engineering design, prototype, and manufacturing efforts.

MTEQ Awarded GBOSS Contract, N00164-13-D-JT71

$15.5 Million Dollar Contract, 3-Year IDIQ

MTEQ was awarded a $16,196,816 firm-fixed-price, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract with Naval Surface Warefare Center, Crane, IN. Under this contract, MTEQ will provide engineering and manufacturing support for lowest replaceable units (LRUs) and upgrade kits for the ground based operational surveillance system (GBOSS) to be used by the U.S. Marine Corps. MTEQ supports the build-to-print production of six top level assemblies and three different kit configurations for the GBOSS lite, medium, and heavy. The GBOSS tower, GBOSS lite, and cerberus lite systems provide 24-hour persistent, ground-based surveillance capability.
